The configure script of textproc/skim does not make use of
CFLAGS or CPPFLAGS but only CXXFLAGS. So the critical
``-D__STDC_ISO_10646__'' should be put to CXXFLAGS in
CONFIGURE_ENV.

problems with the new make(1) .MAKEFLAGS handling. To disable
__softMAKEFLAGS caching, set NOPRECIOUSSOFTMAKEVARS (note: this is done
by default if the new make(1) is being used). To disable .MAKEFLAGS
caching, set NOPRECIOUSMAKEVARS (same as before).
