d5396ec8d4 The build picks up and uses msgfmt if installed. It doesn't actually
need it, but short-circuiting this might cause future problems, so just
add a dependency on gettext,-tools.

95e3a02abb separate the debuginfo property from its use to zap DEBUG_PACKAGES
out of existence: arch-defines.mk MUST be included very early on, so that
modules can use it to decide on behavior, BUT modules are allowed to set
DEBUG_PACKAGES without worrying about it, and so bsd.port.arch.mk must be
the place that zaps!

Discovered by sthen@, because xfce4.port.mk would start churning out
DEBUG_PACKAGES on every architecture.

tested by naddy@ because I wasn't sure I didn't miss something non obvious.

179330be43 Fix unknown ABI issue
https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-23818

Qt Creator analyzes the libQt5Core.so to determine the ABI version. Because of
our own shared lib version handling/pattern, Qt Creator fails with the
determination. This is a very simple fix patch to unbreak the Qt-ABI detection.

28dcd86359 iaxclient: stop trying to use functions which were removed from ffmpeg
some time ago. They were causing the build to fail on arch using a linker
which cares about such things as the functions existing, and would have
caused crashes if the relevant code was actually called on other arches
(I guess this port is not really very widely used..)

Diff from Brad, I merged with newer commit.

1f2701abee Use /dev/null instead of /dev/mixer
The "mixer" plugin (using -lossaudio) still calls open(2) to get a
file descriptor, it's not need to change the volume, but the code
expects various syscalls to succeed. Using /dev/null ensures the
plug-in will continue to work once /dev/mixer is disabled.
