SpamBayes is a tool used to segregate unwanted mail (spam) from the mail
you want (ham). Before SpamBayes can be your spam filter of choice you
need to train it on representative samples of email you receive. After
it's been trained, you use SpamBayes to classify new mail according to
its spamminess and hamminess qualities.

libstatgrab is a library that provides cross platform access to
statistics about the system on which it's run. It's written in C and
presents a selection of useful interfaces which can be used to access
key system statistics. The current list of statistics includes CPU
usage, memory utilisation, disk usage, process counts, network traffic,
disk I/O, and more.

XArchive is a GTK+2 front-end for various command line archiving
programs.
The idea is to have a generic front end for archives that uses external
wrappers around the command line archiving tools.

Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the
surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any
of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets
you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters
down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto'
interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object
you want to visit.
Celestia is expandable. It comes with a large catalog of stars,
galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's
not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more
objects.

LifeLines is a free and open source genealogy program to help with
your family history research. It has native versions for Unix-like,
Mac, and Windows operating systems.
The format of the data as presented to the user for viewing, data
entry, and updating follows the GEDCOM format.
The real power of LifeLines is its scripting ability. There are a
number of LifeLines reports (aka scripts) that generate all manner
of output -- ahnentafels, ancestor/descendent reports, formatted
ancestor reports, beautiful books of all ancestors, fan charts of
ancestors, vital records of all individuals in a format suitable
for importing to palm pilot databases (specifically DB which is
also hosted here on SourceForge). All the reports are included in
the kit.
Several reports can do error and sanity checking of data; such as
deaths before births, extreme May-December marriages, etc.
Workrave is a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of
Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The program frequently alerts you to
take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.
These can be customized and it stops the counter when you stop. The
program can be run distributed on one or more PCs. All connected PCs
share the same timing information. When you switch computers, you will
still be asked to pause on time.

Bos Wars is a futuristic real-time strategy game. It is possible to play
against human opponents over LAN, internet, or against the computer.
It aims to create a completely original and fun open source RTS game.
