- regenerate patches and name them consistently. Note that the
configuration file format and names have changed with this release
- add an INSTALL shell fragment to detect old versions of the config
files and warn the user to regenerate them
- config files now live in /etc/courier-imap, as they are very
generic names, and this avoid conflict with other imap daemons
Summary of changes:
This release fixes some bugs in the POP3 server, adds optional
support for gb2312 and big5 text search, and introduces a new
configuration file format.
The new configuration file format will allow future upgrades
to automatically preserve the existing system configuration data,
instead of installing a default set of configuration files
encryption algorithms.
The patches are a backport from PHP-CVS to the mcrypt m4 script, which
didn't pick up the right version of libmcrypt. I've included the
m4 patch also, since the outputted configure script patch will make no
sense to anyone who looks at it in the future.

ChangeLog is vague, but says there have been six patches applied
that are classed as 'bug-fixes, efficiency improvements, and
documentation updates'

HTML::TokeParser's get_tag() method now takes multiple
tags to match. Hopefully the documentation is also a bit clearer.
#define PERL_NO_GET_CONTEXT: Should speed up things for thread
enabled versions of perl.
Quote some more entities that also happens to be perl keywords.
This avoids warnings on perl-5.004.
Unicode entities only triggered for perl-5.7.0 or higher.
with the included ttyplay command. ttyrec is just a
derivative of script command for recording timing
information with microsecond accuracy as well. It can record
emacs -nw, vi, lynx, or any programs running on tty.
- bump NEED_VERSION
- no longer need extra distfile number4.tar.gz since it has
been integrated into the main distribution
- ltconfig, mysql socket patches are in main distribution now,
so they are removed. Note that the ltconfig patch was only
applied to the 4_0_4 branch by the PHP team, so we will have
to resubmit it for the next version, unless libtool-cvs has
been updated with our information.
- Since php3/4 conflict with each other anyway, versioning is
not needed.
ok jakob@
interface, but 80-90% of the code isn't text mode specific, so other UIs could
be created pretty easily. Also, Irssi isn't really even IRC specific anymore,
there's already a working SILC module available. Support for other protocols
like ICQ could be created some day too.
From Arthur H. Johnson II <arthur@linuxbox.nu>. Somewhat cleaned up by me.
This is a very nice clock that runs in the WindowMaker "dock". Either
digital or analog clock faces can be specified.
