a645bb2ead Do return EVENT_NOT_PROCESSED from hierbox_ev_init and hierbox_ev_abort 
hierbox_ev_init and hierbox_ev_abort must return EVENT_NOT_PROCESSED
so that the generic dialog code runs and initialises the widgets and stuff.
This commit reverts commit f8310de64b to fix
a segfault and also adds comments to explain the unintuitive return value.

6cb282275e Refrain from using $$@, a SysV make feature added in gmake 3.80 
Instead do a little magic to compile test programs before they are linked.
Setup the default dependencies almost the old way, but using a call-macro.

146ca09c43 Improve support for running 'make test' when srcdir != builddir

395a64f569 Merge in the public entity set names from the unicode.org database 
This also fixes b.delta to have the correct value 0x03B4. The main difference
to ELinks' entity database is:

 - entities not in the unicode database from 1997:
   Scomma, Tcomma, euro, scomma, tcomma
 - obsolete entities kept for compatibility:
   emdash, endash, hibar
