The GTK3 UI fails to load the playback control buttons when
adwaita-icon-theme is version 42 or higher. Either downgrade to
adwaita-icon-theme#41, or make do with the command-line options --play,
--stop, --pause, --next, --prev, until a fix for legacy gtk3 code is
released. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/4790 for more
details.
