This allows to reduce the building time by a factor of 6 on powerpc. A target has been provided to create your own bootstrap (similarly to what lang/gcc does), and could be extended for archs that have no bootstrap (64 bit big endian notably) later. EXTRACT_ONLY tweak and OK gkoehler@
