$OpenBSD: README,v 1.2 2018/09/04 12:46:10 espie Exp $ +----------------------------------------------------------------------- | Running ${PKGSTEM} on OpenBSD +----------------------------------------------------------------------- PostgreSQL Authentication ========================= In order for pgcluu to authenticate to PostgreSQL when a password is required you need to create a `.pgpass` file in the home directory of the user running pgcluu(1). By default that would be in `/root`, e.g.: # echo "localhost:5432:*:postgres:postgres" >> ~/.pgpass # chmod 0600 ~/.pgpass Please refer to the PostgreSQL documentation for more information regarding the pgpass file: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/libpq-pgpass.html Generating reports ================== To generate reports in the default setup (assuming the output directory is `/var/www/pgcluu/`: # pgcluu --disable-sar -o /var/www/pgcluu /var/db/pgcluu Limitations =========== pgcluu_collectd(1) requires the `sar` binary from the sysstat project to gather various pieces of operating system information. However sysstat has not been ported to OpenBSD and therefore pgcluu(1) won't be able to display memory/filesystem usage, etc.
