- make sure MySQL is started as user mysql from safe_mysqld.sh script
instead of the example startup.sh
- hard coded /usr/local -> ${PREFIX} in MESSAGE
- use user/group commands instead of cat/adduser in INSTALL script
- ${FOO} -> $FOO in INSTALL/DEINSTALL
