simplify OpenBSD case by using arch(1) and sed to grab

the machine architecture. We now output amd64 instead
of x86_64 as it should be.

let fetch check the size of the retrieved file, if this is recorded in
...
distinfo.
This allows ftp to skip files which return 404 error files and other
such nonsense...
(note that if you want to really grab a file with the wrong size, you
can just say CHECKSUM_FILE=/dev/null)
with input from by xsa, sturm, ian..
