79a32636dd Initial import of ftpsesame 0.95
ftpsesame helps the FTP protocol get through your pf firewall. It does
this by passively analysing FTP control connections and adding rules
into a pf anchor when an FTP data connection is about to commence.

You might want to try ftpsesame instead of ftp-proxy(8) from the OpenBSD
base system for the following reasons:
- it runs on "transparent" (no IP address) bridges
- you need packetfilter performance on all data connections
- you have to handle lots of simultaneous sessions
- you do not want to redirect any traffic to the firewall itself: for IP
  accounting or other reasons

2498eb4790 Import of kismet-2005-07-R1a.
Kismet is an 802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and
intrusion detection system. Kismet will work with any wireless card
which supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and can sniff 802.11b,
802.11a, and 802.11g traffic.

Kismet identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting
standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden
networks, and infering the presence of nonbeaconing networks via data
traffic.

from Matthias Kilian <kili@outback.escape.de> and from a lot of
other people.

9820b081ca Initial import of nagios 2.0b3 and base plugins 1.4.
Nagios is a host and service monitor designed to inform you of network
problems before your clients, end-users or managers do. The monitoring
daemon runs intermittent checks on hosts and services you specify using
external "plugins" which return status information to Nagios. When problems
are encountered, the daemon can send notifications out to administrative
contacts in a variety of different ways (email, instant message, SMS, etc.).
Current status information, historical logs, and reports can all be accessed
via a web browser.

NOTE: Nagios might not work on 64bit archs.

it implements. Consult the documentation for the module in question for

Dnsmasq is lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and
DHCP server. It is designed to provide DNS and, optionally,
DHCP, to a small network. It can serve the names of local
machines which are not in the global DNS. The DHCP server
integrates with the DNS server and allows machines with
DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS with names
configured either in each host or in a central configuration
file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases and BOOTP
for network booting of diskless machines.

"netcat++" (extended design, new implementation)

socat is a relay for bidirectional data transfer between two independent
data channels. Each of these data channels may be a file, pipe, device
(serial line etc. or a pseudo terminal), a socket (UNIX, IP4, IP6 - raw,
UDP, TCP), an SSL socket, proxy CONNECT connection, a file descriptor
(stdin etc.), the GNU line editor (readline), a program, or a
combination of two of these. These modes include generation of
"listening" sockets, mamed pipes, and pseudo terminals.

20ea047f09 flowd is a NetFlow collector daemon intended to be small, fast and
secure. It features some basic filtering to limit or tag the flows that
are recorded and is privilege separated, to limit security exposure from
bugs in flowd itself. Flowd is IPv6 capable - supporting flow export via
IPv6 transport and NetFlow v.9 IPv6 flow records. It also supports
reception of flow datagrams sent to multicast groups, allowing one to
build redundant flow gathering systems.

rsnapshot is a filesystem snapshot utility. It can take incremental
snapshots of local and remote filesystems for any number of machines.

Local filesystem snapshots are handled with rsync(1). Secure remote
connections are handled with rsync over ssh(1), while anonymous rsync
connections simply use an rsync server. Both remote and local transfers
depend on rsync.

not involve any security issues, but malformed, large RCS files can

2a92d6eca0 Initial import of p5-Net-Radius 1.44.
This package contains the Net::Radius::Dictionary and
Net::Radius::Packet modules.

Net::Radius::Dictionary is a simple module that reads a RADIUS
dictionary file and parses it, allowing conversion between dictionary
names and numbers. Vendor-Specific attributes are supported in a
way consistent to the standards.

Net::Radius::Packet provides an interface to turn RADIUS packets
into Perl data structures and vice-versa.
