5c4590d44b Sadly, even if we deprecated libxfcegui4 upstream, some unmaintained 
xfce plugins or apps still rely on it, and broke with libxfce4util 4.11.
Use bandaid from #10974 in the meantime..

0259fe536a Bump XFCE_DESKTOP_VERSION to 4.12.0. 
Add plumbing to allow building from git snapshots by defining XFCE_COMMIT.
git.xfce.org's cgit instance produces tarballs with constant checksums..

6d4a4c6d47 Import xfdashboard 0.3.8. 
Xfdashboard is a Gnome shell like dashboard for Xfce.
For easy and quick access without typing in any command into a terminal a
keyboard shortcut can be defined in Settings -> Keyboard, e.g. the key
combination <Super>+<Tab> runs the command xfdashboard. It has several views
which shows different elements like windows of currently running applications
window list), application menu etc. You can switch between the views using the
view selector.

e6a46036c0 Backport fix for upstream bug #11306, default application was not 
respected with glib >= 2.41. (similar to the patch applied to thunar)

Note that there's a pending 4.10.3 bugfix release but it needs more
testing first.

7f8f2c5483 Import xfce4-whiskermenu 1.3.0. 
Whisker Menu is an alternate application launcher for Xfce. When you
open it you are shown a list of applications you have marked as
favorites. You can browse through all of your installed applications by
clicking on the category buttons on the side. Top level categories make
browsing fast, and simple to switch between. Additionally, Whisker Menu
keeps a list of the last ten applications that you've launched from it.

User switching and menu editing disabled by default, since
gdmflexiserver wont work on OpenBSD, and we don't have menulibre in
ports yet.

e915b95a8f After 5 years of inactivity and bitrot.. update to xfce4-mailwatch 1.2.0! 
Brings it up-to-date with today's Xfce coding standards, tested working
fine with gmail & an imap/ssl accounts.

0c9910f486 Resurrect xfce4-datetime, version 0.6.2. 
This plugin shows the date and time in the panel, and a calendar
appears when you left-click on it. It is a simpler alternative to Orage.

Somehow i resurrected it upstream 10 months ago but totally forgot to
readd it in the portstree - been using it without issues since then.

1f6e967281 Adjust the conflict marker with xfce4-datetime since it will be 
resurrected. In the doubtful case someone updates from Xfce 4.2.1, back
in 2007....
