65bb927769 fix building the various gcc crosscompilers on powerpc64 by redefining vec_step as clang 
already defines this symbol itself.
this approach was discussed with upstream gcc by, and patch copied from, freeBSD

e40f996745 another batch of ncurses->curses WANTLIB updates, skipping any 
that have gettext LIB/RUN_DEPENDS to avoid conflicts for naddy's

b24d78acbb Add dependency on sysutils/coreutils for at least gmkdir which gets picked up 
at configure time.

1f0d4bd5c7 instruct portroach to ignore; the versions used are explicitly not the 
latest since it's the LTS release. besides, there may not ever be a release
again in the current form and shape.
