- Update WWW While here: - Update LICENSE - Convert non-functional (since February) USE_FORTRAN to USES=fortran - Convert USE_PYTHON to USES=python:2 (3.x doesn't seem to work) - Further convert to options helpers - FORTRAN and QT4 options seem to build fine together, so make them non-exclusive regular options PR: 193590 Submitted by: pfg

Silo is a library for reading and writing a wide variety of scientific

|
data to binary, disk files. The files Silo produces and the data within
|
|
them can be easily shared and exchanged between wholly independently
|
|
developed applications running on disparate computing platforms.
|
|
Consequently, Silo facilitates the development of general purpose tools
|
|
for processing scientific data.
