this is a security critical release -- it works around the same bug that was recently patched in sendmail to protect any unpatched sendmail servers behind a postfix gateway. this fix allows one to leave postfix as the gateway machine when there are unpatched sendmail servers, rather than having to install sendmail on your gateway.
