From now on, we provide separate port for each character code supported and platex-common provides charset independent files. And we remove japanese/platex (which has been repository-copied to platex-common) to avoid confusion.

pLaTeX2e is TeX macro package for ASCII pTeX.

pLaTeX2e supports JIS, Japanese EUC and Shift-JIS. This package

installs only the files that are character code independent. You need
|
|
to install either ja-platex2e-jis, ja-platex2e-euc or ja-platex2e-sjis
|
|
to use this package.
