a5e07169fa Update to 0.23: 
Fixed Net::DNS::mx() to work properly in scalar context.

Fixed taint issue when Net::DNS::Resolver::nameservers() is passed
a hostname as an argument.

edb263b95e Update to the latest, 0.21. This version contains many changes, 
please see the Changes file for details. Some of the new features
include TSIG support (experimental), a name server module,
fixes for bind() problems in 5.005.03, and more.

The good news is that our friends in perldom have now seen the
light and fixed the later versions of this module so that it
does not (any longer) require perl 5.6.0 or higher. I've tested
quite a lot of the functions on both a RELENG_4 with stock perl
5.005.03, and a 5-Current system with stock 5.6.1, and didn't
have any problems.

I also added a few files to the PORTDOCS option.

26070aa7ab Fix PORTVERSION so that wacky things don't happen down the road. 
In my previous commit I forgot to mention that 'pkg_add -r bind' is
only half the rationale for changing PORTNAME. The other half is so
that people who really want to can 'pkg_add -r bind9'.

f5fbcb7753 Upgrade to the latest release candidate, 9.2.1rc1. Numerous 9.x bugs 
are fixed in this version, however BIND 9 is still recommended only
for early adopters, and those that have time to closely monitor
their name service.

* Change PORTNAME to bind9 so that 'pkg_add -r bind' does the right thing
* Use the local version of openssl, and disable threads on all but
the most recent -current. Thread support is still considered experimental.

60f5079d3b Upgrade to 8.3.1, an urgent bugfix release. To quote from the release 
notes, "If you have BIND 8.3.0 you need to upgrade." See
/usr/local/share/doc/bind8/CHANGES for a complete list, but the most
important change is:

1324. [bug] certian bad delegations could result in a DNS storm.

897d06aa97 Use ${ECHO_CMD} instead of ${ECHO} where you mean the echo command; 
the ECHO macro is set to "echo" by default, but it is set to "true" if
make(1) is invoked with the -s option while ECHO_CMD is always set to
the echo command.

41a7272359 Upgrade to version 8.3.0, which contains bug fixes too numerous to mention, 
and a few new features. Many of the bugs are related to memory allocation,
and some of BIND's newer features like TSIG, IXFR, etc. Users particularly
interested should take a look at the CHANGES file (see below).

Perhaps the most significant change is the introduction of EDNS0, the ability
to negotiate capabilities between servers. This feature was previously only
available in BIND 9. Whether this is a good idea or not is yet to be seen.

Install more of the documentation, and wrap it all in PORTSDOCS.

e77ea8ac3f Major overhaul, including an updated man/plist, patching the man pages 
to make the location of etc/ files prefix-safe. Install a sample
rndc.conf file. Since rndc won't start without one the user should have
an example to work from. Add the installation of various docs wrapped
in a NOPORTDOCS test.

Last but not least, add a patch that turns off the debugging code ISC
left on by default. This should help solve the problems with
misbehaving assert's, related to nmap and other causes.

5e5841f2cd Eliminate WRKSRC=${WRKDIR}/${PKGNAME} lines, as these will break when 
PORTREVISION or PORTEPOCH are defined.

Most of these Makefiles were defining DISTNAME and WRKSRC (and
sometimes EXTRACT_SUFX) -- change those to define DISTFILES only.
Also, some of the WRKSRC lines were not even necessary, as they were
defining it to the default value.

546041ba31 As threatened on freebsd-ports: all startup scripts know about the two 
options `start' and `stop' now (unless I have forgotten any). This allows
us to call the scripts from /etc/rc.shutdown with the correct option.

The (42 or so) ports that already DTRT before are unchanged.

32a9b4c6ac Added an option: -a <address> . 
It allows you to set the address of a domain in the SOA record.
 It will adds a "IN A <address>" line to the SOA.
 This is needed for sites that want a default address for a partial name -
 say just yahoo.com instead of forcing users to always type www.yahoo.com.

63eef36fd6 Add adns, an asynchronous DNS resolver library that provides a way to do 
nslookups in a non-blocking manner. The adns distribution also comes with
some utilities similar to dig, host, nslookup, etc.

The port that I'm importing rips out the ${PORTOBJFORMAT} checking and
also trims the extra stuff in pkg/DESCR, which the original submission
contained.

63b30814ee Upgrade to version 1.3.3. 
* Bug fix: grep -v changed to grep -iv (compare domains caselessly).
 * Bug fix: nameservers now sorted in SOA serial number order, largest first.
   This way you can dlint the primary server immediately after making changes
   to it (previously had to wait for secondaries to do their update).
 * Optimization: if any nameserver does not return an SOA record in Test 1,
   it is removed from the list of nameservers and a warning is reported.
   This way dlint won't use broken nameservers during the rest of the run.
 * Sanity check domain names of nameservers themselves: any nameserver with
   in-addr.arpa. in its name generates a warning and is skipped.

9aaf246709 import of domtools 
'domtools' is a set of DNS information extraction utilities.

The commands in the 'domtools' package allow you to traverse DNS domain
hierarchies, list all hosts (or subdomains) within a given domain,
convert host name to IP address and vice-versa, convert a normal IP address
to the "in-addr.arpa." format and vice-versa, and more. These commands can be
used manually, or included as building blocks for higher level DNS tools.
They generate output that is easily computer parsable.

4d7307bda2 dns-rev Take the forward DNS mapping and generate the reverse mapping. 
dns-hosts Take the forward DNS mapping and generate the /etc/hosts file.
dns-ng Take the	forward	DNS mapping and	generate the /etc/netgroup file.

96bc8048c3 Use bsd.port.{pre,post}.mk to move PORTOBJFORMAT to front, or change 
shell loops to make loops.  Use EXTRA_PKG_FLAGS to add install scripts
instead of adding it to PKG_FLAGS after bsd.port.mk.
