1eca3f824a Total hack to allow gcc31 to build on -CURRENT.
This hack makes gcc totally use our stock headers vs. the fixinc'ed ones.
There is probably zero chance of getting this fixed in the FSF/GCC CVS
repository, as the 3.1 branch is offically closed.

4fe6852b8f Due to popular demant into each port which might be inserted into dependency
list by bsd.port.mk insert anti foot-shooting device, which prevents
infinite fork loop when the user defines corresponding USE_XXX in global
make.conf, command line or environment.

Similar devices should probably be inserted into ports that might be inserted
into dependency list by others bsd.foo.mk files (bsd.ruby.mk, bsd.python.mk
and so on.)

c2d708e143 Upgrade to the 1-July-2002 GCC 3.1.1 pre-release snapshot.
Note that with this update we loose the .info files.
I am sick and tired of dealing with them and most of all makeinfo --no-split
isn't working.

c982f5faf1 Use ${ECHO_CMD} instead of ${ECHO} where you mean the echo command;
the ECHO macro is set to "echo" by default, but it is set to "true" if
make(1) is invoked with the -s option while ECHO_CMD is always set to
the echo command.

Use command macros where appropriate.
