creep
1. v. To advance, grow, or multiply inexorably. In hackish usage this verb has
overtones of menace and silliness, evoking the creeping horrors of
low-budget monster movies.
2. Someone who makes conspicuously unwanted sexual advances at a hacker
conference.
3. Gradual increase in scope of a project without corresponding increase in
budget or number of engineers. "On a fixed budget the project scope creeped
into a crunch".
