DB is a database abstraction layer providing:

DB layers itself on top of PHP's existing database
extensions. The currently supported extensions are:
dbase, fbsql, interbase, informix, msql, mssql, mysql,
mysqli, oci8, odbc, pgsql, sqlite and sybase.
