From de247992b66210d3bdaf3d975b52248eb59bc39d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: miod Date: Sat, 5 May 2001 23:42:03 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Make MACHINE_ARCH available for PLIST. Allow for MACHINE_ARCH specific files or patches, if no such files for ARCH found. Put compiled packages in MACHINE_ARCH directory, instead of ARCH. All of this to improve support for compound architectures, mainly m68k-based architectures at this time. While there, mention mvme88k does not have shared libraries, to be sure this isn't forgotten when mvme88k gets back in shape. ok'ed by espie@ --- infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk | 48 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++-------- 1 file changed, 38 insertions(+), 10 deletions(-) diff --git a/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk b/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk index b1f2b22382f..210ecc5a944 100644 --- a/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk +++ b/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk @@ -1,6 +1,6 @@ #-*- mode: Fundamental; tab-width: 4; -*- # ex:ts=4 sw=4 filetype=make: -FULL_REVISION=$$OpenBSD: bsd.port.mk,v 1.406 2001/05/05 20:23:42 espie Exp $$ +FULL_REVISION=$$OpenBSD: bsd.port.mk,v 1.407 2001/05/05 23:42:03 miod Exp $$ # $FreeBSD: bsd.port.mk,v 1.264 1996/12/25 02:27:44 imp Exp $ # $NetBSD: bsd.port.mk,v 1.62 1998/04/09 12:47:02 hubertf Exp $ # @@ -215,7 +215,7 @@ ARCH!= uname -m OPSYS= OpenBSD OPSYS_VER= ${OSREV} -NO_SHARED_ARCHS=alpha hppa vax +NO_SHARED_ARCHS=alpha hppa mvme88k vax # Define NO_SHARED_LIBS for those machines that don't support shared libraries. .for _m in ${MACHINE_ARCH} @@ -242,6 +242,10 @@ NO_BUILD?= No .if exists(${.CURDIR}/Makefile.${ARCH}) .include "${.CURDIR}/Makefile.${ARCH}" +.else +.if exists(${.CURDIR}/Makefile.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +.include "${.CURDIR}/Makefile.${MACHINE_ARCH}" +.endif .endif # These need to be absolute since we don't know how deep in the ports @@ -256,37 +260,53 @@ FULLDISTDIR?= ${DISTDIR}/${DIST_SUBDIR} .else FULLDISTDIR?= ${DISTDIR} .endif -PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/packages/${ARCH} +PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/packages/${MACHINE_ARCH} TEMPLATES?= ${PORTSDIR}/infrastructure/templates -CDROM_PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/cdrom-packages/${ARCH} -FTP_PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/ftp-packages/${ARCH} +CDROM_PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/cdrom-packages/${MACHINE_ARCH} +FTP_PACKAGES?= ${PORTSDIR}/ftp-packages/${MACHINE_ARCH} .if exists(${.CURDIR}/patches.${ARCH}) PATCHDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/patches.${ARCH} .else +.if exists(${.CURDIR}/patches.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +PATCHDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/patches.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.else PATCHDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/patches .endif +.endif PATCH_LIST?= patch-* .if exists(${.CURDIR}/scripts.${ARCH}) SCRIPTDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/scripts.${ARCH} .else +.if exists(${.CURDIR}/scripts.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +SCRIPTDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/scripts.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.else SCRIPTDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/scripts .endif +.endif .if exists(${.CURDIR}/files.${ARCH}) FILESDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/files.${ARCH} .else +.if exists(${.CURDIR}/files.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +FILESDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/files.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.else FILESDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/files .endif +.endif .if exists(${.CURDIR}/pkg.${ARCH}) PKGDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/pkg.${ARCH} .else +.if exists(${.CURDIR}/pkg.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +PKGDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/pkg.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.else PKGDIR?= ${.CURDIR}/pkg .endif +.endif PREFIX?= ${LOCALBASE} TRUEPREFIX?= ${PREFIX} @@ -472,7 +492,7 @@ WRKDIST?= ${WRKDIR}/${DISTNAME} WRKSRC?= ${WRKDIST} .if defined(SEPARATE_BUILD) -WRKBUILD?= ${WRKDIR}/build-${ARCH}${FLAVOR_EXT} +WRKBUILD?= ${WRKDIR}/build-${MACHINE_ARCH}${FLAVOR_EXT} .else WRKBUILD?= ${WRKSRC} .endif @@ -585,7 +605,7 @@ SCRIPTS_ENV+= ${_INSTALL_MACROS} # Create the generic variable substitution list, from subst vars -SUBST_VARS+=ARCH HOMEPAGE PREFIX SYSCONFDIR FLAVOR_EXT +SUBST_VARS+=ARCH MACHINE_ARCH HOMEPAGE PREFIX SYSCONFDIR FLAVOR_EXT _SED_SUBST=sed .for _v in ${SUBST_VARS} _SED_SUBST+=-e 's,$${${_v}},${${_v}},g' @@ -597,6 +617,10 @@ SED_PLIST+=|${_SED_SUBST} # find out the most appropriate PLIST source .if !defined(PLIST) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.${ARCH}) PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.${ARCH} +.else +.if !defined(PLIST) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.endif .endif .if !defined(PLIST) && defined(NO_SHARED_LIBS) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.noshared) PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT}.noshared @@ -606,6 +630,10 @@ PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}${FLAVOR_EXT} .endif .if !defined(PLIST) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.${ARCH}) PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.${ARCH} +.else +.if !defined(PLIST) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.${MACHINE_ARCH}) +PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.${MACHINE_ARCH} +.endif .endif .if !defined(PLIST) && defined(NO_SHARED_LIBS) && exists(${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.noshared) PLIST= ${PKGDIR}/PLIST${SUBPACKAGE}.noshared @@ -1792,9 +1820,9 @@ ftp-packages: ${PKGFILE}: - @mkdir -p ${PORTSDIR}/logs/${ARCH} + @mkdir -p ${PORTSDIR}/logs/${MACHINE_ARCH} @cd ${.CURDIR} && exec ${MAKE} package ALWAYS_PACKAGE=Yes 2>&1 | \ - tee ${PORTSDIR}/logs/${ARCH}/${FULLPKGNAME}.log + tee ${PORTSDIR}/logs/${MACHINE_ARCH}/${FULLPKGNAME}.log ${FTP_PACKAGES}/${FULLPKGNAME}${PKG_SUFX}: ${PKGFILE} @mkdir -p ${FTP_PACKAGES} @@ -1954,7 +1982,7 @@ RECURSIVE_FETCH_LIST?= Yes # packing list utilities.
