Initialize size to 0 to avoid gcc warnings
...
We can never get to a call to ftruncate() without specifying size
so the compiler warning is bogus.

truncate: match coreutils truncate behaviour
...
improvements:
- when truncate on a file failed proceed with the rest.
- when truncate on a file failed exit with EXIT_FAILURE.
