After carefully analysis, RepoMan has declared my formerly sacrilegious overlay to be to be decent. The ebuilds still need some fixing, but this is certainly a step in the right direction.
This overlay is a titanic mess. I didn't care in the past, but now I hope to get it included in the official repository list some day.
