Problem: Various inconsistencies in test files.
Solution: Add modelines where they were missing. Use Check commands instead
of silently skipping over tests. Adjust indents and comments.

Problem: Cannot use a user defined function as a method.
Solution: Pass the base as the first argument to the user defined function
after "->". (partly by FUJIWARA Takuya)
