Add a comment for translators about "[Y/N]" in strings
...
Thanks to Rafael Fontenelle for suggesting this change, as otherwise
translators may well miss the need to localise the "Y" and "N".

Update the Brazilian Portuguese translation
...
In particular, add a standard header block, remove English keywords from
the desktop file, correct "interstelar" to "interestelar", modify
whitespace as required and use Unicode characters where possible.

Remove the Spanish translation by Francisco Javier Serrador
...
A series of emails with Santiago Vila in May to July 2018 strongly
recommended this option: Francisco's translation is unfortunately of very
poor quality, and although Santiago hoped to provide his own, he has not
been able to do so to date. A new or significantly revised translation
can always be added at a later date.

Convert xstrfmon() into a wide-character version xwcsfmon()
...
Also work around buggy implementations of strfmon() that do not copy
complete multibyte sequences that may be part of a locale's
mon_thousands_sep, thousands_sep, mon_decimal_point or decimal_point.
